If You are Unemployed Don’t Forget to Spend Extra Time With Your Children

This article in Chicago Tribune got me thinking about benefits of being unemployed. I mean it does suck rotten eggs (really old rotten eggs) to be job less. It creeps into your soul and makes one fee like a failure. However, let’s not forget some of the benefits of being between assignments.

The number one benefit is the opportunity to spend extra time with your family. Don’t miss out on the chance to make some  extra memories with you children. It’s easy to get caught up in the rat race and forget what really matters.  On your death bed you won’t be thinking about work projects you’ll be thinking about wonderful moments spent with those you love..
